Port Adriano / Sa Torre / Nova Santa Ponsa
One of the most pleasant marinas in Mallorca is Port Adriano, 15 minutes west of Palma in the southwest area. The small secluded beach and the excellent restaurants on the sea shore are an added plus. Enjoy sitting there in the evening watching the sun as it sets behind the Malgrat islands. Next to the marina the small village of El Toro offers all kinds of services such as a pharmacy, a bakery, a food shop and a bank. Hotel Port Adriano, located on a hill above the sea, is a luxurious and likeable hotel. You can swim in the crystal clear water accessing it from the beach in Port Adriano or from the cliffs outside the marina. Many fine living quarters have been created in Nova Santa Ponsa and the standard there is very high. Several of these housing complexes offer a sea vista and are next to one of the three golf courses. Near the older parts of Santa Ponsa is the Santa Ponsa Golf Club with its hotel and well liked restaurant. The town is best known for its white crescent shaped beach and pleasant hotels. There are many shops, restaurants, clubs and services. The 30 km long bike and walking track to Palma and beyond, starts in Nova Santa Ponsa. The area has good bus transport to Palma and other places.
