Every Wednesday a colourful market is held in Port de Pollensa. Close to the west, the ancient town of Pollensa offers an enjoyable outing. See the narrow streets with art galleries and exhibitions along with many charming boutiques, genuine restaurants and small hotels. On the square, in front of the church, you will find a selection of cafés. The pride of Pollensa is a stairway made of 365 steps called the Calvary Stairs.
Markets are held on Wednesdays in the town of Pollensa, and worth visiting. Close by are the Pollensa golf club and the exquisite Alcanada golf course, next to the sea. If you visit the Formentor light house you will pass the world famous five star Hotel Formentor. Famous guests such as Grace Kelly, Prince Rainier, Winston Churchill, Sir Peter Ustinov and many others have enjoyed holidays there.
