Take a delightful walk to the light house in Port Portals and enjoy the view of the marina and the impressive yachts. Many famous regattas are held here on a yearly basis such as the Breitling regatta, the Classic Omega and others. Mallorca’s only restaurant with two Michelin stars, Tristan, is located here, as is King Juan Carlos favourite restaurant Flanigan’s. Another well liked restaurant and rooftop bar with an enchanting view is the Ritzi. On the hilltop above the typical Spanish village Portals Nous is located, offering every kind of day to day service such as banking, hairdressing, a travel agent, a hardware store, redecorators and doctors’ offices. There are bars, catering services and hotels too. Children enjoy the amusement park Marineland and their dolphin shows and exotic animals. Next door is the Sporting Club where professional tennis players Rafael Nadal and Carlos Moya sometimes play. Next to the marina a nice sandy beach is located by the turquoise water. The Illetas beach and beach club are nearby too, as is the Bendinat golf course. Above Port Portals lies Costa d´en Blanes, a popular living area with wonderful opportunities for mountain hiking. A 30 km road for walking and biking passes by on its way to Palma and beyond. Take the opposite direction to Port Adriano and Nova Santa Ponsa. The transportations in Portals Nous are good. Taking the local bus gets you to Palma in minutes.
