In this place a peaceful pace may still be enjoyed. Those who visit the area stop to enjoy the exquisite view of the sea and the Malgrat islands. For several decades now the two hotels in Cala Fornells have offered a holiday paradise to regular customers from all over the world. The area has managed to maintain its genuine atmosphere in spite of the added building sites that have blended in so nicely. Many excellent restaurants are to be found next to the sea too.
A path leads east to the larger resort Paguera where a long beach with fine sand and a great variety of water sports, such as sailing, pedal boats, diving, wind surfing, waterskiing and parachute-gliding, are available. Paguera has a pleasant car free centre with many boutiques, bars, pubs, restaurants, clubs and services such as a hard ware store, doctors’ offices, dentists and so on. On the beach several of the restaurants are open all the year round.
