Description
A very popular mountain hike takes you to the ruins of the convent La Trapa. The Tramuntana mountain range starts here and follows the west coast of Mallorca about 120 km north to Pollensa. San Telmo is appreciated by those who are looking for the genuine Mallorca. There is a lovely walk above the small port and a car free promenade. Many traditional Spanish restaurants serve fresh fish and sea food of the day. There are plenty of bars and cafés next to the nice big beach.
Not far from the beach, where the road ends, you can swim from the cliffs in Cala Conills. Enjoy the fantastic restaurant by the same name next to the sea which has a sea water pool and sun bed rentals too. Every Wednesday you can visit a popular market in Andratx only five minutes away. The nearest golf course is ten minutes away in Camp de Mar. In Camp de Mar you will find a lovely beach and next to it many boutiques and restaurants too. The bus between Palma and San Telmo passes through the old village of S’Arraco with its ancient houses, square, church, two excellent restaurants, bars, a butcher, a bakery and a bank.
