One tip is to buy a good hiking book with map so you can read and study different hiking trails. At El Corte Inglés in Palma, there is a selection of books, usually in many different languages. Otherwise, we can recommend Herbert Heinrich's books on hiking. These are available for sale in newspaper stores in Peguera.

Another tip for a new book is "Walking on Mallorca" written by Anita and Birger Loyland. It is their fourth book about hiking but the first book on Mallorca. For more information and purchase locations visit www.vildmarksbiblioteket.se
